The New Duff started as a humble home kitchen hustle in Nassau and powered by a single dessert, a whole lot of love, and a mission to raise funds for our founder’s mom’s life-saving surgery. That dessert is duff; a warm, spiced Bahamian bread pudding passed down through generations, perfected by grandmothers who didn’t need recipes, just rhythm.
That one act of love turned into a movement.
Today, The New Duff is a proudly Bahamian brand redefining convenience, but still handmade. And now, we’ve taken the next big step: Gran Bahama.
Based in Toronto, Gran Bahama is our sister brand with a bigger menu and even bigger ambitions. It’s Caribbean comfort with global fusion. We celebrate bold, buttery buns filled with jerk, curry, roasted veggies. Off course, our iconic guava duff is the center piece with other everyday offerings like French toast, breakfast sandwiches and more.
